“Project.Detachment” is the archeology of today. It’s an artistic attempt to recollect and reconstruct the lost stories. Stories that are labeled as insignificant but are somehow related to our lives. It’s visualizing the invisible and hearing the inaudible. This project analyses the possibilities and potentials within different practices, such as online performance, visual arts, music, and experimental filmmaking. It’s an attempt to bring a documenting approach and fiction together and to make an online archive with the help of a collective form of storytelling by various artists and spectators.

The online performance presented in Reconnect Festival is the final piece in a series of artistic projects that tell the story of a lost woman. A woman called “Ms. M” was lost 24 years ago in Sweden and she was never found again. All these artistic projects related to the story of “Ms. M” can be seen on the Instagram page and YouTube channel of “Project.Detachment”.
